Although it doesn’t look (or feel) like summer yet, I had the pleasure of designing Taryn’s wedding flowers exactly to counteract that. A scented mix of sweetpeas, Astrantia, stocks, Scabiosa, poppies, salvia, Trollius, Centaurea and Brodea in shades of hot pinks and purples was used in the bridal bouquet, bridesmaid’s bouquet and the flowergirls’ posies. And to complete the summer wedding theme, each guests’ table had a bright yellow sunflower vase, stylishly finished with wedding lace and pearl pins.
